It is with sincere regret that the organisers of the SA Best Practice of the Year 2010 competition have found it necessary to cancel the event. With an element of uncertainty relating to Conflict of Interest, it was considered inappropriate to request contributions and the involvement of the sponsors, without which the event cannot be held. We will assess the situation in the future in order to determine whether the event will again be held in 2011 and subsequent years.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience that the cancellation of the 2010 event may cause and thank those who entered the competition as well as the sponsors for their support.
